Debbie is an experienced litigator who has defended corporations in products liability and other civil actions for over twenty-five years. She has developed a pragmatic approach by successfully handling numerous global mass tort and MDL matters. She has served as national counsel for several Fortune 500 companies.
Debbie has spent the majority of her career defending medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers. Among other products, she has defended makers of breast implants, vaccines, implantable cardiac defibrillators and pacemakers, contrast dye used in MRI, pelvic mesh and implantable birth control. She currently acts as national counsel for a wheelchair manufacturer.
Debbie is a creative problem solver. She has favorably resolved thousands of cases through formal and informal mediation. She has also provided pre-litigation counseling and in-house training to her clients. Debbie clerked for the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and has argued several appellate matters in both federal and state court.
Debbie has been recognized on the Benchmark list of Top Female Litigators in the country.
